The North American Bear Center.
Ely's newest ecotourism site. Ely has been the site of long standing
research projects about the native black bear. Learn about habits
& characteristics of bears from this website and join NABC to
help make this an education & exhibit center a reality right
here in Ely, MN. this is one of the most inforamtive exhibits I've ever seen. And the bears are a delight to watch.

The International Wolf Center
is a wonderful educational exhibition and "living" museum here in Ely.
With it's five resident live wolves as the centerpiece of a fabulous
museum type exhibition; "Wolves and Humans", the IWC is leading the
field in ecotourism and education about the Gray Wolf (which is still
found in the wilds of Ely's north woods), and other wolves found around
the world. Look on the map for 'our' South Farm pack.
