Slow cooked ribs, rubbed with Ted's magic BBQ seasoning, served with
Jo's Hobo Beans, cornbread, coleslaw & Millionairs Pie for dessert.

Your dinner starts with a savory Cornucopia of Salsa & Smoked Chicken
Choose from these entrees':

    * Chicken Breast stuffed with Sun-dried tomato and served with garlic / herb butter.  Accompanied by Fruited Wild Rice.  A memorable dining experience for flavor, aroma and sight.  5 courses - $30
    * Walleye tenderly baked with garlic butter becomes a memorable delight when topped with fresh Parmigiano Reggiano.  Fruited wild rice complements this Northland favorite.

    * Tournedos steak seared to your taste with herbed maitre’ de hotel butter.  Served with a twice-baked potato.  5 courses - $35

Wild Game Night!
Your dinner starts with  Spankopeta; a Greek spinach & feta pastry

    * Smoked Elk Roast, tender and richly savory with garlic mashed potatoes.

    *  Wild Boar Ham, deep flavored, succuluent with cheesy mashed potatoes.

    * Elk tips lightly sauteed with peppers and onions in red wine sauce, served with linguini.  5 courses $35

Your dinner starts with Uniquely Northwoods, melt-in-your mouth, lightly spiced Walleye Rangoons
Choose from these entrees':

    * Chicken (or tofu) sautéed to perfection bursts with flavor when crowned with made-on-site fresh pesto.  Served over linguini. 5 courses $30.

The Dining Room at Blue Heron offers classic fine food served with warm hospitality in our lakeside wilderness setting.  We are open for dinner Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  Please call/email us with your entree selection at least 24 hrs in advance.  We have only 5 tables, so space fills up fast.  Blue Heron's menu changes from day to day and seasonally as well.    All meals are five courses and include appetizer, bread, soup or salad, main with sides, beverages and dessert.  Wine is available by the glass or by the bottle. Chef Ted L'Allier will work with you to accommodate special diets; he regularly prepares meals that are low fat, Vegetarian,  gluten free and lactose free. On Wednesday's we prepare a rib fest with dry rubbed slow cooked ribs just like you find down south.  Friday's are Wild Game nights offering Elk and Boar.   Always a favorite is our preparation of Walleye which is available each night.
