GUIDED CANOING ADVENTURE OPTIONS
Guide, Jason Zabokrtsky, offers two options for your canoing adventure:
- Guided canoing day trips from Blue Heron or other locations
- Guided two-day, one-night canoing/camping adventure sandwiched by overnights at Blue Heron.
We
highly recommend Jason as your knowledgeable and personable guide.
Jason knows this area well from his experience as summertime and
wintertime wilderness guide. Blue Heron has worked with Jason for
the past five winters.
Guided Day Trips -
After breakfast you will leave from Blue Heron and explore the
nearby Kawishiwi Triangle area. This old
pathway of lakes and rivers was active during the logging
days. You may loop into Clear Lake, the South Kawishiwi River and
beautiful Esquagama Lake.
Be sure to have us fire up the sauna in time for your expected return
to assure that your muscles do not protest your adventure.
Cost is $175 up to 4 people plus taxes. Pack your own lunch, have BH make you one or Jason can supplies your trail lunch for an additional $25. Add this
option on to any stay at Blue Heron. You will need a full day. Plan ahead to enable us to secure Jason's services.
